Not every noisy engine needs a rebuild. We test first – compression, leak-down, oil pressure and a full scan – and give you an honest recommendation with the costs side by side.

How we rebuild
Five stages. No shortcuts.

Stage 1
Diagnose
Compression and leak-down tests, a full scan and an honest opinion: repair, overhaul or replace.

Stage 2
Strip down
The engine comes out and is stripped on the stand. Every part is cleaned, inspected and photographed.

Stage 3
Measure
Bores, crankshaft journals, bearings and the head are measured against factory specification.

Stage 4
Machine & rebuild
Machining where needed, then assembly with new bearings, rings, seals, gaskets and the correct torque procedure.

Stage 5
Fit & test
Refitted, filled, primed and coded. We run it in, road test it and give you the running-in instructions.
